The Town went to great lengths to describe our project as something other than a walkover. Their intent was to force us into applying for a "Special Exception" claiming our project was something different than a walkover.
Kurt and I fought that and we lost, so that forced us into a position of applying to the Town for a "Special Exception" to get a building permit.
To apply for the Special Exception, Kurt and I had to submit an application to the Town Local Planning Agency (LPA) board and attempt to get a recommendation to approve our request for the "Special Exception".
Kurt and I presented our project and accompanying information to the Town LPA board and they voted 7 to 0 to APPROVE the recommendation of our project to the Town Council.
