Going Forward
After the Council's denial of our Special Exception, Kurt and I filed for a Special Magistrate hearing. This Special Magistrate was agreed upon by both us and the Town, and provides a path for mediation and a possible joint agreement to settle the dispute. The Town attorney ignored the process and did not adhere to the timelines of the process, so Kurt and I were forced to make the decision to cancel the Special Magistrate mediation process which led into us filing a claim for damages and ultimately the Bert J.
